The 2017 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Awards, the largest competition of American wines in the world, announced their award-winning wines in January. From over 7,000 entries from 28 states across the country, the judges narrowed the entries down to a chosen few.
The judges, with backgrounds in trade, education, media, and/or retail, applied their expertise to determine the best wines in the US.
Wine entries were divided into several categories and subcategories, then rated as Bronze, Silver, Gold or “Double Gold” (which is awarded to a wine where all panel members rate the wine as Gold).
We are pleased to announce that both our entries came away with medals. Our 2014 Malbec was awarded a silver medal. Our 2014 Syrah – EMV…. wait for it…..was awarded DOUBLE GOLD! Make sure you pick up a bottle of both these award winners.
