Talina’s favorite Thanksgiving pairing
When the holiday dinner parties approach, everyone in my family gets their potluck dish assignments. I always receive “wine”, which I take as a sign of respect for my wine knowledge and not a comment on my cooking abilities! My family is a strictly “Red Wine Only” crowd, so last year when I showed up with several bottles of Eleven rosé, there were understandable gasps of disbelief. “Is this wine?!” “Will it go with our food?!” My answer is: Welcome to the hero of Thanksgiving dinner! Our La Primavera rosé is versatile and dry, presenting a lively acidity that puts it right at home with all the Thanksgiving classics: turkey and gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes (and gravy!), brussel sprouts, green bean casserole (eww!), more gravy, and cranberry sauce!
Our Eleven rosé has a cornucopia of fruit flavors (see what I did there?) harkening back to its clever blend of bold Washington varietals such as Malbec, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. Nervous about the in-laws getting along? No problem! Pour them a chilled, refreshing glass of social equanimity to break the ice. Share it with the second cousins you see only once a year, or with that great aunt who still calls it “blush wine”. Featuring festive flavors and a luscious rose gold color, La Primavera is perfect to open while cooking during the day, and will hold its charm all the way through the main course!
Cheers & Happy Thanksgiving!
