Live music at the Winery: DJ Heady Merckx
Dj Head Merckx (a play on Eddy Merckx, the famous Belgian cyclist and five time Tour de France winner) began dancing to his mom’s Beatles records at the age of three. From the moment he first learned to drop the needle his heart was hooked and his love of vinyl grew. Now, a little older, his tastes have coalesced into Funk, Soul, Groove, Fusion, Jazz, and really anything that puts a skip in your step.

Two unlikely musical collaborators - here’s what you get when you combine an operatically trained vocalist and a self-taught Folk/Rocker! Serving up a wide-ranging, energized set of favorites not often covered, including contemporary hits such as Taylor Swift & Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus, Alanis Morissette and the Alison Krause & Robert Plant Duo, as well as old-school favorites like Chuck Berry, Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel, and more.

Songbird brings a delightful blend of folk, folk-pop, classic rock standards, and a touch of blues to our stage. Their influences range far and wide, drawing inspiration from Gillian Welch, Dave Carter & Tracy Grammer, Buddy Holly, Warren Zevon, and Fleetwood Mac.

Live music at the Winery: Cobelco
Originally from the Oregon Coast, Jeffrey Scott Womack is a DJ and music enthusiast who has performed across the United States and abroad. Since beginning his journey with software and turntables in 1999, he has brought his sound to fashion shows, dance clubs, art spaces, and radio broadcasts. Now based in the greater Seattle area, Womack is passionate about music, movement, and connecting with people. His sets reflect his love for dancing, community, and the joy of shared experiences.

Live music at the Winery: Pigeon Town Hoochers
Pigeon Town Hoochers is a vintage-inspired Americana outfit founded in 2022 by singer-songwriter Frankie McCabe and guitarist/songwriter, Steve Wheeler. The pair has since written, recorded, self-produced and released their debut album, “Late Bloomer.”
Earlier in Steve’s career, he played in a string of bands who opened for the likes of Alabama, Lacey J. Dalton, Johnny Paycheck & Frank Sinatra Jr.
This California-based duo has toured all along the west coast, and is eager to continue sharing their songs with as much of the world as possible. Their love of classic American music is made clear by the nostalgic vibes of their originals, as well their choices of covers, and they are currently in the process of creating a sophomore albums, which leans heavily toward the golden eras of country, with some distinctly modern and unexpected twists for good measure.

Chris Switzer is a solo acoustic musician known for his captivating performances that blend classic rock, alternative covers and some modern country/folk. As the frontman of the band Hippy & the Squids, Chris brings a unique energy to his solo shows, engaging audiences with his soulful guitar playing and dynamic vocals. His music often features a mix of beloved classics and contemporary hits, making his performances a hit with fans of all ages.
Chris regularly performs at various venues, including breweries, pubs, and casinos, where his acoustic sets create an intimate and enjoyable atmosphere. If you’re looking for a night of great music and good vibes, catching one of Chris Switzer’s solo acoustic performances is a must! Live music at the Winery: Larry Murante
Singer-songwriter Larry Murante is well known for his soaring, mellifluous tenor, strong rhythmic guitar style, and engaging stage presence. He performs both originals and cover tunes. His award-winning original songs feature beautifully woven stories about everyday folks. They combine compassionate, socially conscious lyrics with an upbeat, joyful folk-rock style.
Larry’s music is reminiscent of Jackson Brown, Lyle Lovett, and Marc Cohn. His extensive repertoire of originals and classic covers can be tailored to audiences at festivals, wineries, restaurants, pubs, private events, radio interviews, and house concerts.
In the past 10 years, Larry Murante has won more than 18 awards in US and international competitions for songwriting and performance, including Grand Prize Winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
Other awards include the West Coast Songwriters Song Contest and the Great American Song. His fourth CD release, Patch of Sky, has garnered critical acclaim and radio airplay in both the US and Europe.

Live music at the Winery: Sarah Brunner
Sarah Brunner is a Seattle-based Americana singer-songwriter who fell in love with music at a young age, studying voice, guitar and trumpet. She grew up writing stories and poems which opened the door to songwriting.
She honed her chops playing everything from Johnny Cash to The Weeknd to Sheryl Crow — all of which can be heard in her distinctly folksy-yet-not-folksy rhythm guitar playing. It’s a rare singer-songwriter that uses rhythm guitar just as much as vocal melody to define a song, but she takes pride in “driving the bus.” Her love for music is equal to her love for connecting with people - throughout her career, she has learned that music never fails to bring people together, whether performing in an intimate setting or for an upbeat celebration.

Live music at the Winery : Jack Parker
Over the span of his 20-year career, Jack Parker has taken his life-long journey through the peaks and valleys and shaped a musical sound reminiscent of a timeless America. For years, Parker has been the ingenious six-string slinger interpreting other people’s songs from “stage-right” as a founding member of Tumbledown (along with Mike Herrera of MxPx), Rocky Point All-Stars, New Old Stock, and Dark Horses, (Parker was also a guitarist for the legendary Bremerton punk band MxPx from 2011-2016), but more recently he has taken center-stage to write, sing, and play his own songs that have an air of rambling down the open road, but ultimately a longing for coming home. His roots lie in the heart of the great Pacific Northwest, right next to the shores of Puget Sound.

Live music at the Winery: Kara Hesse
Native to the Wichita plains and raised in Boulder, CO, Kara’s midwestern roots seep through her sultry voice and songwriting with an eclectic blend of Americana soul and rock ‘n roll. Her music is like a warm breeze from Muscle Shoals in a contemporary framework that scratches a musical itch you didn’t realize you had. Her songs have landed on television shows (CBS, ‘Scorpion’ and DirecTV, ‘You Me Her’) and has opened for acts, such as Steve Miller Band, BB King, Al Green, and Buddy Guy. Kara’s catalog includes two albums, Better By Morning (2014) and Sojourner (2018), along with several singles. Her third album is currently in production in Nashville, Tennessee, where she now resides.

Live music at the Winery: Kurt Lindsay
Based out of Tacoma, Washington, Kurt Lindsay has been playing all venues imaginable in the great northwest. Equipped with just an electric guitar and his voice, he captivates audiences with rich lyrics and heartfelt melodies. His influences are widespread; ranging from Damien Rice to Van Morrison, from Jeff Buckley to Ottis Redding.
After his band, BODYBOX, stopped playing in 2013, Kurt knew it was time to take his solo career to the next level. He began booking shows all over the place, often driving over four hours in a single day.
Kurt continues to grow his fan base, and rumor is that some projects may be set for the future. In the meantime, check out his album which is for sale on this website and watch some of his videos to get a better idea of what his music is all about. Most importantly, make sure to catch him in his element at a live show.

Bainbridge Island musical allstars Alan Simcoe, Korum Bischoff & Neil Conaty come together as “The Whammy Bars”, playing groove-inducing genres such as reggae, calypso, and blues rock.

Live music at the Winery: Tyler McGinnis
Co-Lead singer and guitarist for The Hipocrats, one of Seattle's most promising up-and-coming Americana bands, Tyler McGinnis is a force to be reckoned with. Born in Southern California, he attended college in Nebraska and then relocated to Seattle, WA in the summer of 2017. Over the last few years, he has been making impressive leaps and bounds in his songwriting, performing, and overall musical identity during his time in the PNW. His creative spin on past and present experiences breeds songs that lyrically offer a sensationalized window into his life. He boasts powerful vocal performances that mix rich styles of Americana and Alternative Country music with Southern Rock and a fresh twist of soulful melodies.
His music will have you singing along to a good time drinking song, reminiscing about long lost love and the regretful or questionable choices of your past, then leave you feeling uplifted, refreshed, and in an all-around good mood.

Local Kitsap jazz band Hardmode Quartet features talented musicians with deep roots in the community. Ian Jones, a saxophonist from Bremerton, has performed with Latin Jazz group WEPA for over a decade and leads Hardmode Jazz Quartet to explore swing, bebop, and funk. Jaymes Dunlap, a bassist with a passion for jazz, shifted his focus from piano and trumpet to bass, finding joy in making music with friends. Joe Rice, a Bremerton-born pianist and composer balances gigging with teaching social studies at Bainbridge High. Harley Trotland, a versatile drummer with experience in various genres, brings his love of jazz drumming to the group.

DJ Sidecar, AKA Gary Bedell, is a graphic designer, photographer, silk screener, and vinyl DJ residing and creating on Bainbridge Island, Washington. In 2016 he got back into spinning records after taking a 30 year break from stints being a DJ for Skate King and KBCS 91.3 community radio. He spins an enticing collection of classic and neo funk ‘n soul, hip hop, early rock and roll, 80’s wave, jazz, and global grooves.

Hailing from the Great White North in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Jean-Piérre et Jacques are two burly, hockey-playing, ax-swingin’, acoustic-strummin’ hosers who will happily rock your pants right off your body to leave you burnt and smoking on the dance floor!

Danny Godinez is a treasured Seattle Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter. He has played with Jason Mraz, Tim Reynolds, Carlos Santana, Johnny Lang and is a longtime collaborator with Michael Shrieve of Santana.
His solo shows feature intricate percussive fingerstyle guitar to fiery lead guitar, spanny the Blues/Jazz/Funk idioms and beyond.

Carvin Pumpkins is a musical duo from the Pacific Northwest made up of Carlos Santos and Vin Chawla. They play a variety of rock and blues jams on rhythm guitar, lead guitar and Djembe. Expect to hear interesting arrangements on some of your favorite songs from the 90s and 2000s.

Blending a wide variety of musical influences, along with the comfort on stage that comes from over two decades of performing, Yotes entertains audiences with a mix of songs from 1950’s country, 1980’s neo rockabilly, modern Americana, and many genres and eras in between. He mixes songs by Johnny Cash, The Stray Cats, The Blasters, and Murder By Death with his own compositions. Old favorites are interspersed with some of his favorite songs by friends and up-and-coming artists he’s met through the years.

Live music at the Winery: Jonathan Campbell Jazz Trio
Jonathan Campbell, a Kitsap native, is a nationally recognized saxophonist, composer, and educator. After spending the last ten years teaching saxophone and jazz at the University of Minnesota and the University of Utah, he has returned to his home area to direct instrumental music at Olympic College. He has shared the stage with numerous jazz greats, including Clay Jenkins, Ingrid Jensen, Robin Eubanks, Brian Lynch, Benny Green, and Terell Stafford. Jonathan recently released his second solo album, "Singularity," featuring internationally recognized trumpeter Dave Douglas.
