Team

Alana Mignano

Co-Owner, General Manager. Full-time cat herder. “Mom Alana” to the Happiness Engineers.

Alana grew up on Bainbridge Island and honed her baking skills at the Art Institute of Seattle, where she mastered the art of “making all the things delicious.” She also earned a BS in Business with an accounting focus, so she can whip up a spreadsheet as easily as she can whip up a soufflé.

When she’s not busy running the show, you’ll find Alana exploring the great outdoors on horseback or hiking trails, diving into a good book, experimenting in the kitchen, or jetting off to discover new adventures with her son, Alexander. If you spot Alexander in the tasting room, just bring up basketball, and you’ll have a new best friend before you know it.

As for Alana’s favorite Eleven wine? Don’t even bother asking—it changes faster than the weather! Her pick depends on her mood, the season, her lunch, her outfit, or even the best punchline she heard in the tasting room that day. One thing’s for sure: her love for Eleven wines is as versatile as her talents.

Armathia Bolles

Co-Owner, Winemaker. Making the Snuggie look good since 2009.

Armathia graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science in Business Animal Science - pre-vet, proving she was destined to work with living things, even if they’re mostly grapes now. Her love for animals shines through as a devoted dog mom to her trio of pups: Charlie, Lucy, and Tannin (the winery’s resident wine dog and arguably the team MVP).

What drew Armathia into the world of winemaking? A mix of her love for chemistry, creativity, and the irresistible charm of turning science into something delicious. While she’s a pro at every stage of the winemaking process, her true specialty is quality control—also known as “tasting the wine,” a role she takes very seriously (for the sake of excellence, of course). Whether she’s perfecting a blend, chasing the next vintage, or sneaking in some dog cuddles, Armathia brings her passion and a hearty laugh to everything she does.

Ashley Dunlap

Co-Owner, Tasting Room & Events Manager. Coffee scholar. Band groupie.

Ashley, a proud Kitsap County native, has a knack for seeing the world through a lens—literally! With a degree in Commercial Photography from the Art Institute of Seattle, she’s got an eye for capturing life’s magic. Her favorite time of day? Those early mornings when the world is still, the birds are serenading, and the coffee is brewing (perfection, right?).

While her gardening skills are still a work in progress, Ashley’s determined to turn her thumb a vibrant green someday. When she’s not digging into the dirt or her latest photography project, you’ll find her snuggled up with her husband, Jaymes (the musician—swoon alert), binge-watching their favorite shows or cheering him on at his gigs with friends in tow.

These days, Ashley is diving headfirst into the world of wine, soaking up the knowledge and savoring every moment—preferably with a glass of Malbec in hand. Life’s all about good company, great wine, and making the most of it, and Ashley’s here for all of it!

Stephanie Bell

Wine Club & Marketing Manager. In search of sleep, sanity, & unicorns. Dog mom.

Stephanie escaped the wilds of South Carolina over a decade ago, swapping corporate chaos for raincoats, waterproof shoes, and all the PNW charm. Now, she’s the mastermind behind the most fun wine club around and this fabulous website. When she’s not busy being amazing, she’s petting every dog she meets, sipping Chai tea, hitting the trails, or shamelessly binging Hallmark Christmas movies—because who says Christmas magic has a season?

Dane Iussig

Winemaker. Mycophile. Globetrotter. Secretly a wizard.

Dane's great-grandfather brought winemaking skills from Northern Italy to the US in the early 1900s. Dane became interested in winemaking as a teenager after hearing stories from my father and grandfather about the family's old winemaking press and equipment. After completing his Enology and Viticulture degree, he worked harvests in Chile and Australia and gained experience in winemaking and grape growing at wineries and vineyards throughout Washington, including Corliss, Cardaretta, Seven Hills, and Milbrandt. What are Dane's future plans? - building an estate winery and vineyards on his family's home in Northeastern Washington. Maybe we can get free tastings?

Jill Pentzer

Tasting Room & Events Manager. Bringing back the 80s with neon and cassette tape earrings.

Born and raised in Montana, Jill is a true outdoor enthusiast—with one tiny catch: she’s absolutely terrified of bees (and really, anything that buzzes). Her solution? Embrace the snow, where the buzzing is nonexistent, and the scenery is stunning!

Jill’s love for learning runs deep. She’s tackled passions of all kinds, earning her B.S. in Business from Montana State University (Go Cats!) and a Diploma in Residential Design from the Art Institute of Seattle. These days, she’s diving into her latest adventure: all things wine.

When she’s not exploring the world of wine, Jill is a proud wife and mom to a lively mix of furry, feathery, and human kids. Isn’t her life just un-bee-lievably fun?

Forrest Sherman

Wholesale & Happiness Engineer. Will go into survival mode if tickled.

Forrest’s roots run deep in the lush forests of the Pacific Northwest, where his love for nature and curiosity about the world first blossomed. While studying Conservation Biology at the University of Idaho, he stumbled upon his passion for winemaking—and it’s been at the heart of his life ever since.

In the tasting room, Forrest loves sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with visitors, often delighting them with fun facts about wine, nature, or just about anything else (seriously, he’s a walking trivia goldmine). He’s also a proud member of the winemaking team, bringing his dedication to every step of the process. Recently, Forrest has taken on the exciting challenge of wholesale sales, expanding his expertise and spreading the love of wine far and wide.

Matt Albee

Founder. Scientist. Chef. Bike racing fanatic. All my puns are intentional.

Winemaking might not seem like the obvious connection between science, cooking, and adventure, but it beautifully brings all those elements together. Crafting great wine demands meticulous preparation, dedicated study, and long hours of hands-on effort. Matt’s rich experiences in the lab, the kitchen, and on the road perfectly paved the way for the day he first stepped into the cellar—and left forever changed.

For Matt, winemaking embodies everything that matters most in life: honoring the earth, embracing hard work and learning, and sharing unforgettable moments with friends and family.

Brooke Hollis

Happiness Engineer. Coffee-Drinker, Lego Master, Recent cat lover.

Brooke is a multi-talented powerhouse with a degree in Computational Data Science & Chinese Language from Penn State (We Are!). Over the years, she’s worn many hats—barista, lifeguard, data engineer—but her current gig as a Happiness Engineer is hands-down her favorite.

When she’s not busy spreading joy, Brooke channels her adventurous spirit into traveling and exploring every corner of the Pacific Northwest. With her boundless curiosity and love for adventure, there’s no telling where her next journey will take her!

Connor Ehlers

Happiness Engineer. I wish I knew when my pizza would arrive.

Connor, a Southern Oregon native, made his way to Washington to earn his Bachelor's degree in Marketing. When he’s not immersed in his studies, you’ll find him diving into his favorite hobbies—photography, pop-punk music, and all things tech. (Got a computer issue? Connor just might be your guy!)

He’s also got a serious love for sneakers and adores his two French Bulldog boys. But if there’s one thing that truly has his heart, it’s a perfectly brewed cold brew—and, naturally, a glass of Eleven wine!

Tiffany Aney

Happiness Engineer. Recommended by 4 out of 5 people that recommend things.

Tiffany is a proud Bremerton local with a deep love for the Pacific Northwest! When she’s not busy in the wine industry, she’s on the go with her three kids, cheering them on at their sports and activities. She’s also the creative force behind a thriving woodworking business that crafts adorable décor for kids.

A big fan of road trips and discovering new places, Tiffany is also on a quest to find the ultimate french fries (because who isn’t?). Her adventurous spirit has led her to taste hundreds of ciders in recent years, but now she’s diving into the world of wine with enthusiasm and curiosity. Cheers to new adventures, one sip at a time!

Oceana Williams

Happiness Engineer. Living in the moment, preferably one with snacks and wine!

Oceana’s journey started on Bainbridge Island, took a detour through Seattle, and then led her to the sunny south of France in Aix-en-Provence. While there, she racked up degrees in International Relations and French Studies and even taught English at a French university.

Her time at Eleven in 2020 sparked a wine obsession that had her exploring vineyards and mastering wine pairings in France.

Now back in Washington, she’s thrilled to mix her love of wine with her passion for the great outdoors. Ask her what her go-to wine is for a hike—she’s got a bottle in mind!

Aiden Crabb

Happiness Engineer. Binge-watches Bob Ross to get the technique down for “Happy Little Trees.”

Aiden’s got stories for days—like the time he backpacked solo through Western Europe for three months and fell hard for Amsterdam. He’s all about the classics, with a music playlist straight out of the 70s and 80s (think George Harrison, Fleetwood Mac, and Neil Young). Oh, and he’s a film photography enthusiast, so don’t be surprised if you see him sneaking a candid shot or two.

When he’s not enjoying a glass of wine, Aiden’s diving into writing and dreaming up ways to save the planet through conservation and climate advocacy.

Erica Haberstock

Happiness Supporter. In search of the purr-fect wine and the next Hallmark Christmas movie binge.

Erica has been a proud Bainbridge Islander for so long, she’s practically part of the landscape. While you won’t catch her in the tasting room, she’s the behind-the-scenes wizard making sure Eleven Winery runs like a dream.

When she’s off the clock, Erica loves spending time with her favorite person—her husband—and their trio of adorable cats (who may or may not secretly run the household). Her top pick from Eleven’s lineup? La Primavera, because a little pink in your glass makes life even sweeter. Cheers to cats, wine, and living out those Hallmark-style happily ever afters!
