You can see her around Tacoma singing with any number of talented musicians. She also writes and performs her own music as well. She’s just doing what she loves, whether that is crafting a simple song about her experiences, refashioning a metal song into a heartfelt ballad, or bringing down the house with belting out a chorus, Angie would love for you to be a part of it.

You may be asking yourself, “what is a handpan?” The handpan (hang) is a convex steel drum tuned to multiple notes and particular scales. It emits a sonic tone that has the capacity to create many layers of sound and ethereal effects.

Eduardo Mendonça, a native of Brazil throughout his travels in the US, Canada, Nepal and Brazil, the talented musician, composer, arranger, and musical director has explored the many and varied genres of Brazilian popular music, entertaining such notable personalities as the 14th Dalai Lama, Pope John Paul II, and former South Africa President Nelson Mandela.  Mendonça appeared in the PBS “American Masters” documentary: “Paul Simon: Born at the Right Time” which aired in 1993.

In May 2016, Eduardo performed as guest artist with the jointly sponsored Seattle Symphony-Carnegie Hall project “Link Up: The Orchestra Moves,” exploring the creative process of this passionate composer through melody and motif. Eduardo offers a unique and pleasurable musical experience and his performances never fail to enlighten and entertain multi-generational audiences about music theory, history, and investigation. As Paul de Barros of The Seattle Times observes, “Seattle is lucky to have Mendonça in the neighborhood”.

Deseo Carmin is a fiery fusion of latin, jazz/rock with spicy flamenco. Original music as well as sultry arrangements on favorite Latin, Brazilian and Spanish songs.

DESEO CARMIN plays a sultry fusion of Latin/Flamenco/Funk music -“Spanish music with an edge”. The band has been mostly performing in the Seattle area for the past 10 years and their music has already transcended borders as far as Latin America where they currently receive radio play at radio stations in Paraguay and Chile. Throughout the years they have performed at several well-known venues and events such as World Rhythm and Folklife Festivals. Their music has been featured in local radio stations as well as NBC’s King 5, Seattle Channel and KCTS Channel 9’s “Arts Zone”.

They were selected as one of the featured performing artists in the Seattle.gov website and their music featured in “Seattle on Hold”. They are proud to have been nominated for a music award in 2011 at the New Music Seminar Artists on the Verge (AOV) project which takes place in Los Angeles, CA. “AOV” identifies the 100 artists most ready to break each year and it’s a great achievement for DESEO CARMIN to have been nominated to this exclusive list from millions of artists throughout the US.

Haug’s dance style is an evolutionary style which teaches the science behind partnership dancing, empowering you to be yourself and love dancing to all styles of music, getting into your flow.

Endearingly labeled as “Pearl Jam meets Bette Midler”, Champagne Sunday began in Ventura, CA, in 2005 migrating up to the Pacific Northwest in recent years. Husband and wife members Jessi and Jared Fredeen have been tearing up stages and crowds nationwide with their unique upbeat, roller coaster style shows, firing off gypsy-punk rock songs alongside everything from intimate tear-jerkers to anthemic foot-stompers. Described by Leanne Rimes as “the best band I’ve seen that’s not yet famous”, this act has a ton of energy, heart, and talent that makes for an engaging, powerful show.

On Sunday, May 19th, we will be donating 100% of our tasting fees (that’s right:100%), and 10% of all bottle purchases to Kitsap Humane Society. This event will be held at the Winery location only, which is open 12pm-5pm. There will also be adoptable pets looking for their furever homes!

The #1 priority at Kitsap Humane Society is saving animals’ lives. The Kitsap Humane Society provides comfort and care to thousands of animals in Kitsap County, and the expert medical care and rehabilitation each animal needs to become strong, healthy and adopted into new, loving homes. Donations are critical to giving more animals a second chance.

Acclaimed for his warm tone, soaring lyricism and masterful technique, American flugelhornist Dmitri has been lauded as “one of the most emotionally expressive improvisers of his generation” (International Review of Music).

Dmitri Matheny vaulted onto the jazz scene in the 1990s as the protégé of jazz legend Art Farmer. Since then he has garnered critical acclaim and a loyal international following, touring extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia, traveling to 19 countries. With over 100 recordings to his credit, Dmitri Matheny has released 11 albums as a leader. His latest is Jazz Noir, a fresh spin on crime jazz, film noir movie themes and timeless classics. The San Francisco Chronicle calls Matheny “one of the jazz world’s most talented horn players.”

Ranger and the “Re-Arrangers” evoke the spirit of a Paris cafe and the raucous energy of a Gypsy campsite with their version of Gypsy jazz. “At the heart of their sound is Ranger Sciacca’s sweet violin playing… his sense of melody and daring improvisations” (World Rhythm). The band’s repertoire includes swing standards, traditional Gypsy melodies, the music of Django Reinhardt, and Ranger’s unique originals.

Ranger and his father Michael formed the band in 2006, after a pilgrimage to the world’s foremost Gypsy Jazz event, the Django Reinhardt festival in Samois Sur Seine, France. The band has now released 4 CDs and performs over 100 times each year at music festivals, concerts in the park, swing dances, weddings and events of all sorts.

Beni Brosh is an Americana Singer-Songwriter based out of Fort Collins, Colorado. His songs are honest and heartfelt, cleverly crafted and musically rich. Utilizing his guitar case as a kick drum, Beni’s one-man-band set up showcases his original songs based in rock and roll, folk, blues, and outlaw country music. His influences range from Neil Young and Rolling Stones to John Prine, Willie Nelson and Townes Van Zandt to more modern folk/Americana music like Ryan Adams, Jason Isbell, and The Lumineers.

Beni captures audiences with his authentic performances that are sure to make you laugh, cry, and contemplate this crazy world we live in. After 5 years of touring with the folk rock trio The Coteries, Beni decided to part ways with the band to pursue a solo career at the end of 2017. The band performed at venues and festivals in 46 states, and shared stages with musical acts such as Whippoorwill, A.J. Fullerton, WoodBelly, Sierra Hull, The Ghost of Paul Revere, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, The Black Lillies, The War and Treaty and many more. He now calls the Front Range of Northern Colorado his home and currently is working to grow his following on the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and release his first full length album, “Hole Hearted”, which is set for release this winter!

Sugary sweet vocals, infectious pop melodies, and contagiously positive songs could only describe 25-year-old songwriter and performer Rachel Morgan Perry. Performing at venues all over the country, Rachel has shared the stage alongside national acts such as Teddy Gentry of Alabama, Colton Dixon of American Idol, and country music Opry performers such as Smithfield and Drew Baldridge. Rachel’s music weaves together sounds reminiscent of Jewel, Alison Krauss, and Colbie Caillat along with her own unique flair.

Making a name for herself as an independent artist, Rachel has toured the country and been honored with awards such as Telluride Bluegrass Festival’s Honorable Mention, Tuscan Folk Festival First Runner Up Award, American Country Star’s Top Four Finalist, Night of the Stars Finalist, and NSAI’s “One to Watch” to name a few. Her songs have been featured on FM stations across the country, as well as XM radio’s top ten playlists.

Rachel recently released a full-length self-titled album featuring her unique sound branded as a mix of “sweet country” and eclectic folk. Rachel’s record was produced by AGMA’s 2013 producer of the year, Donna King. “I really feel like the organic collaboration and musical understanding Donna and I have between one another can only be put as spiritual. My goal for this record was to make something that felt like magic- and I feel like we did just that,” says Rachel.

It’s not only Rachel’s record that holds elements of magic. At every live performance, Rachel has been known to leave listeners with an undoubted sparkle in their eyes. Rachel’s love for life, joyful spirit, and honeysuckle sweetness seem to ooze out of her talent and passion making her an artist that is one to watch.
